"Let Us Pray"

Today we continue our prayer focus called

“Let Us Pray.”  We hope that our prayer calendar is guiding you as we pray each day for Archdale UMC.  This emphasis will conclude on Sept. 12th with a prayer gathering that Sunday evening at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary.  Make plans to join us for this time of prayer, praise and celebration.

BUSH HILL FESTIVAL

Saturday, September 11th; 9am - 4pm

Volunteers are needed to donate & hand out bottled water at our booth at the Bush Hill Heritage Festival.

Bottled water may be dropped off at the church office.

We will be selling gently used Fall & Winter Clothing, Uniforms, Shoes, Nursery & Children's Bedding, Books, Videos, Toys, Room Accessories, Costumes, and Maternity Clothing.

AUMC HOMECOMING

 AUMC’s Homecoming will be Sept 19th.  Invite a friend and bring your favorite covered dish for the church-wide lunch that will follow worship.  The preacher will be Rev. Keith Bingham who served as pastor of AUMC from 1986 to 1992.

Instead of a Fall Festival, there will be food items for sale

during the Brunswick Stew Sale. 

October 9th from 12:00-5:00pm

We need all cooks, young and not so young, to donate items to be sold. 

Some suggestions are (but not limited to):

¬ Casseroles

 ¬ Frozen Desserts

Senior Lunches will be September15th at 11:30am.  The program will be by Linda & Hurley Hinshaw.  All are welcome!
