About Church Officers

United Methodist Churches are governed by a representative system of decision-making while other denominations are organized to make decision by congregational vote. In United Methodism, members of the congregation are elected to leadership positions and entrusted with official decisions of the church. The people whose names are listed on the following pages have been carefully chosen by the Lay Leadership Committee and elected by the Charge Conference. They are the leaders of the church. Please give them your support in prayer and by your participation in church life. Your questions, comments and suggestions are always welcome.
