Prayer and Praise

The Lord’s Prayer:

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth,

As it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,

Forever. Amen.

SPIRITUS

Pray for safe travels as our AUMC group returns from SpiritUs today.

Our Children Are Our Future

The children here at Archdale United Methodist are some of our most important members. They are the future of any church. We are looking for teachers in the elementary department for the 2017-2018 school year. If you or someone you know would be interested in helping with this vital church ministry, please contact Erika Guffey 336-880-7270 or Shannon Moser 336-848-4632.

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

A Teacher Breakfast will be in the Archdale Friends Meeting gym on Tuesday, August 22. HOW CAN YOU HELP? Archdale United Methodist Church has been asked to provide 15 breakfast casseroles (sausage/egg) 9x13in. Casseroles need to be brought to Archdale Friends by 7:30am on Tuesday, August 22, hot and ready to serve.

If you can prepare a casserole or two, please let the church office or Kay Nichols know.

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

July 30 – August 20, 2017

It’s hard to believe, but school will be here before you know it.  We want all students to start school with the proper supplies.

Collection boxes are located by the Wesley Room and by the Church Office.

This year 19 students at Archdale Elementary will need packed book bags, and many more students will need supplies as well.

Please help us fill these with supplies.
