Prayer and Praise
The Lord’s Prayer:

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
Forever. Amen.

Advent Study

Wednesday’s 6-7 PM
Nov 29th, Dec 6, 13, 20
George Elder Classroom

Join us each week!

He started his journey as an unknown carpenter, but Joseph became the earthly father of Jesus. For his part in the nativity story, he faced a situation much like our own–encountering life circumstances he didn’t choose or understand. In Faithful, Hamilton encourages readers to follow Joseph’s example during this Advent and Christmas season, and exchange doubt for courage as we learn to accept and glorify God’s will.

The 9am Worship Service needs an acolyte or multiple individuals willing to light the candles and then carry the light out at the end of the service. Contact the church office if you are willing to serve in this very important role.

The Choir needs a reader and a shepherd for their Dec. 17th cantata. Please contact Cheryl Traylor to volunteer.

The Youth and Kids will be taking orders for Christmas Poinsettias through November 19th. Youth will be set up to take order this Sunday after services at 9:00 and 11:00. The Poinsettias can be purchased in memory or honor of a special person and will be used to create a Poinsettia Tree in the fellowship hall prior to the Christmas Holiday.  Plants will be 8 inches and available as red or white.  The cost for each plant is $20.  All orders should be paid for at the time of order and the plants can be picked up after December 17th.

Proceeds will go to missions.

The Christmas mailbox will be on the table outside the Wesley Room where you can “mail” your Christmas cards to church members. To make sorting easier, put the receiver’s name and SS Class as the intended address. Put the sender’s name as the return address. If the cards are not picked up, they will be returned to the sender. The cards will NOT be mailed through the postal system. Bring cards on Dec. 3, Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. They will be in the SS classrooms on Dec. 10, 17 and 24.

The red rosebud placed on the altar at both worship services Sunday,

Nov. 19th, was in honor of Jackson Daniel Hunt and placed there by Gary & Cathy Hunt.

Please be praying for…
