United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women is a connectional organization of women committed to seeking wholeness through Jesus Christ, developing a creative supportive Christian fellowship and a commitment to missions here and around the world (especially on behalf of women and children).

The Archdale unit of the United Methodist Women consists of two circles that meet monthly. The Morning Circle meets at 10:30 a.m. the first Monday of each month except during the summer months. Marilyn Holtham is the circle chairperson and they meet in the Community Room. The Evening Circle is chaired by Peggy Johnson. They meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Wesley Room the second Tuesday of each month except July. The two circles hold their combined General Meeting in January, May & September the first Monday of each month. A Christmas meal is held in December with the combined circles which replaces the December meetings.

In addition to monthly meetings for spiritual growth and projects that support both missions and the church, United Methodist Women also participate in district and conference United Methodist Women Prayer Breakfasts, Annual Meetings, and Spiritual Enrichment events.

Sharon Carpenter is the president of the Archdale United Methodist Women and all women are invited to participate in the activities of the unit.
